Today I was learning about a famous explorer, Freya Madeline Stark. She is a inspiring traveller and a great author. I really resonate with her personality and lively daring spirit. In spite of her well... strange and deeper experiences that I even didn't want to type down. But anyways, I have made a presentation using Canva (ok, yes I am once again using Canva as always) and
removebg. Which is a tool that removes backgrounds off an image. You can edit it by restoring it or erasing it which makes it so much easier for me - keep in mind some images may not come out in a high quality result as you would expect, so that's why I say this.
I really enjoyed researching and digging deep into her fame. For example, her biography and childhood.
I found it challenging to decipher the information because I didn't quite understand at first but I read it again and it made so much sense to me.
Next time I might need to search "info for kids" when I am learning/researching about something.

Exploring the world would be such an interesting but also terrifying job, Freya sounds like a very brave person
I noticed that you found out Freya knew how to speak a couple different languages, that is so cool! I would love to know how to speak a different language. If you could pick another language to be able to speak, what would it be? I think I would choose either Māori or Spanish.
Canva seems like a great tool to use when creating posters, and you are getting very good at using it - I’m excited to see what else you can do using Canva!

DeleteThe reason of my desire to research about her was because I was trying to find someone that was uncommon in history. And that's when I discovered Freya. I did go really deep into the facts this time and well, I think I shouldn't have penetrated that deep. A language that I would choose to fluently speak (aside from spanish) is Greek. Greece is an aesthetic and fascinating place to travel.
Have you been mountaineering or hiking in certain places around New Zealand?

DeleteFreya was a very interesting person to research and I'm impressed that you gave yourself a challenge to research someone of was not very well-known by many people.
Greek would be such an awesome language to speak, and very interesting too.
I have been hiking in many places in New Zealand and also in a couple different countries such as Japan, America and Vietnam. I think hiking is a great way to go and explore a countries culture and their nature.
