In conclusion - ending SLJ program

For 2019 - 2020 I have enjoyed the SLJ program alot. It was very beneficial and supportive with my education and knowledge and learnt alot from this program. I gave delight to the first week of activities because It was engaging into my interests and knowledge. In spite of a few days of not being active, I still have learnt plenty of things. My most highlighted activity was the 3rd activity on day 4. I like to design and get creative. However, I was a little bit unsure of the week 2 activity on day 1.
It was about your mostly enjoyable websites. I didn't quite enjoy it because I kind of had to think about some websites that I frequently go on. It was a slow process to complete but I work carefully. The three things that I learnt from this program is to persevere with your goals and big dreams. Another thing I learnt was to try new things. Experience and knowledge of doing something is the key to success - even try the things that you don't like. I have also learnt to express creativity and be open to your opinions.
Sometimes opinions can be harsh but it's really just blunt honesty. With creativity, your really just giving your mentality a good time.
Even though this is my last time in primary, I also want to explain a few adjustments. What if the program could...
* Engagement in high school - having high school people blogging might be a good idea.
* Have more fun and interesting activities - often, we are intrigued by things that relate to us. So I would ask if there will be some interesting activities.

I thank every single volunteer and SLJ teams for organizing this program.

Thank you!

Waiting for the future

Kids in the modern world are full of dreams and success with their future careers and plans. Like me. The world is full of many jobs like doctors, teachers, labourers etc. Every single one of us has a journey to become what we want to achieve. And so that is for all of us children. Carrying on,
My Interests
I have always had a passion for writing, astrology and astrology. With writing, I have always wanted to become an author or a journalist. I also loved to read with my mother when I was younger which is how I found the aspiration of literacy. It has been with me for a pretty long time and has helped me along the way.
With astrology and astronomy, I have an admiration of star gazing. My uncle gave me his old telescope that he used, but broke as he used it frequently My dad fixed it and that's when I got addicted to star-gazing (I didn't get that addicted though). As I was engaging into that, I began studying the constellations in the sky. And that's when I began my passion for astronomy/astrology.
My Future plans
This year, I will be starting off highschool and there will be a lot of big changes for me. When I make (and survive) it through high school and college, I want to travel the world to experience. I have been learning a few languages such as Spanish, German, Latin and Greek and it has been fascinating. It has also improved on my memory and preparation to communicate and socialize with the outside world. However, travelling around the world may be expensive, so I might need to work hard and save up. But I also want to carry on studying literacy and astrology as I continue on with life.

For now, I just want to stay in the present and just focus so I don't go over time.

In the world of music

Today I have created a poster about my favourite songs. Even though I hardly listen to music, I still have some favourite that I listen to sometimes. The problem is, I don't have any favourite artists. I don't know why but I think I'm a muddled up with music. There are many popular artists out there that have outstanding music.
I enjoyed creating my poster and finding out my favourite songs.
I found it challenging to think of my favourite artists.
Maybe next time I might make put in links to certain things.

Reading for a passion

Designing a book cover was quite difficult but fun at the same time. I love to read (yes I am a bookworm) and write for a passion. I want to tell a little bit about my book cover design just so you can get a idea. With the front cover, I made the setting at the beach and made a mysterious "Into the blues" colour scheme. It's just so it can feel bewildering to the colour of it. I am not really a good expert at making colour schemes for designs but I gave it a go anyway.
I really enjoyed thinking of the design because I had a variety of ideas to choose from.
I found it challenging to write down the synopsis (which is the back of the book).

Strong minds - mental awareness

Many of us in this modern world are chaotic when it comes to fighting for one's rights. Like mental health. 450 million people around the globe are already suffering from a mental illness. It is actually a highly-ranked issue today. But there is a charity in New Zealand called "Heads Together" It was created by John Kirwan and Mike King and supported mental health awareness. I have created a poster here:

Background:
I have set an Aloe Vera plant as my background because it has a great effect on the mental health. It lowers depression to.
Picture:
I have added a lavender as a mouth because the lavender increases relaxation and lowers anxiety. It is one of the most stress-relieving plants in the world. I have added chamomile as the eyes because it helps calm down insomnia and it too, lowers anxiety to the mind. Flowers always have a quirky and vital effect to our health and that's why I added them on the side.
Title (catchphrase...maybe):
I have put "I'm Okay" as my title because you commonly hear people who say that and you get confused weather or not they're not okay. So that's why I wrote that down. I also wrote at the bottom strong minds saves lives because all around the world, everyone is strong and it literally saves yourself from mentally damaging yourself.

The Modern World Of Media

Today I have created a presentation based around the internet. It was a long process (well , not that long). However, It was still enjoyable for me.
I enjoyed making the layout. Now that I have improved on my layout work, It looks way better and my skill has thrived so much.
I found It challenging to think of the layout because I wanted it to be engaging to the audience, so I made into a blog-like layout to set the theme.
Next time I might be more quicker at choosing my design. I will also make sure that I take proper screenshots next time.
Here I have shared a link to my work because I links to the websites I have on my presentation. So here it is:

Sharpen your pencils and keep writing

Today I have created a poster for a book review. I haven't written one before but this is my first time. A review is a look-back thing by someone who describes pros and cons of that thing. It is commonly seen in movies, books, businesses and even products of a market.
I really enjoyed writing the book review because, as I said, I familiarize writing it.
I found it challenging to look for my favourite books because I love reading to much. I even have an abundance of books at home on my shelf.
Next time I might need to slightly shorten it down just a little bit.
Here is my work:
