In conclusion - ending SLJ program

For 2019 - 2020 I have enjoyed the SLJ program alot. It was very beneficial and supportive with my education and knowledge and learnt alot from this program. I gave delight to the first week of activities because It was engaging into my interests and knowledge. In spite of a few days of not being active, I still have learnt plenty of things. My most highlighted activity was the 3rd activity on day 4. I like to design and get creative. However, I was a little bit unsure of the week 2 activity on day 1.
It was about your mostly enjoyable websites. I didn't quite enjoy it because I kind of had to think about some websites that I frequently go on. It was a slow process to complete but I work carefully. The three things that I learnt from this program is to persevere with your goals and big dreams. Another thing I learnt was to try new things. Experience and knowledge of doing something is the key to success - even try the things that you don't like. I have also learnt to express creativity and be open to your opinions.
Sometimes opinions can be harsh but it's really just blunt honesty. With creativity, your really just giving your mentality a good time.
Even though this is my last time in primary, I also want to explain a few adjustments. What if the program could...
* Engagement in high school - having high school people blogging might be a good idea.
* Have more fun and interesting activities - often, we are intrigued by things that relate to us. So I would ask if there will be some interesting activities.

I thank every single volunteer and SLJ teams for organizing this program.

Thank you!

  1. Kia Ora Ruby-Rhain,

Thank you for participating in our Summer Learning Journey Program this year! It has been so much fun and I have really enjoyed reading and commenting on your posts throughout the summer!

Your recommendations are great, hopefully SLJ will be open for high school students in the future but as of now, students upto year 8 are able to participate. This means that it will be available for you next summer if you are interested in participating in our program again!

I noticed that you asked for more interesting activities! What kind of activities would you like? Maybe you could make a blog post and design the perfect activity! We will look at it and keep it in mind for next time!

Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments.
Positive - something done well
Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
